I work on everything from automotive, semis, big and small construction equipment, seal trucks for paving, some pavers, crushers, side dumps, dump trucks.

I can use plasma cutter, acetylene torch, mig and stick welder, some tig, steel skill saws, angle finders, most of things fab related and be efficient with them.

• Troubleshooting, repairing and/or overhauling major automotive components and systems.
• Identifying mechanical and operational problems utilizing a wide variety of test equipment, including computerized engine analyzers, compression testers, multi-meters, and other equipment as required
• Repairing a variety of automotive systems such as engines, transmission and gear reduction systems, transaxles, drive line and rear axle assemblies, electrical and electronic systems, fuel injection systems, emission control systems, braking systems, hydraulic and other assemblies
• Capable of interpreting and applying manufacturer’s repair manuals, schematics, diagnostic codes and safety manuals sufficient to accomplish these tasks and am familiar with all tools, equipment, and materials used
• Work independently, make decisions, accept job responsibility, exercise initiative and plan operations.
• Completing repairs and installations with little or no technical advice.

• Respond to accidents, break-downs, and other roadside incidents
• Interact with customers, speaking to them about their automotive problems, potentially diagnosing the cause, and providing necessary assistance.
• Perform small repairs on the scene of a breakdown such as changing tires, reconnecting parts, or jumpstarting the car.
• Dismantle vehicles to salvage parts, using such hand tools as wrenches, pry bars, and hacksaws
• Bend, or cut parts of damaged vehicles in preparation for towing.
• Safely load cars onto the back of truck and tow to the customers desired location

• Able to work with different types of flooring materials
• Inspect and clean surface in preparation for flooring installation
• Correct defects such as a sub-floor that is unleveled or contains rotted wood.
• Sweep, scrape, sand, or chip dirt and irregularities from base surfaces, and fill cracks with putty, plaster, or cement grout to form smooth foundation
• Cut materials and take measurements prior to changing floors
• Regularly perform kneeling, bending, and reaching, also move heavy equipment and materials, able to regularly lift up to 75 pounds
• Performing basic math to safely and accurately complete the job
• Excellent communication skills, and work well with customers and coworkers
• Work with carpenters, carpet installers, architects, engineers, and other workers to get appropriate job specs.
• Utilize layouts, blueprints, and installation order to get the job done
