Served as Executive Director under Ecumen, until it was sold in Dec 2011.

Responsibilities included managing and directing all depts and aspects in the delivery of care for 145 residents.

Two new care programs were initiated under my direction; specialty for military veterans, and care for native Americans. The latter included a cooperative plan jointly delivered with leadership of the area tribal communities.

Responsible for daily all depts and operational functions, directing a 220 bed care center consisting of specialty units; transitional care, long-term care, Alzheimers Unit.

500+ non-union employees.

Directed the design and development of 2 specialty care units: transitional care 32 beds, and 24 bed subacute care. During my term, the care center received multiple outstanding awards for qualilty of care, and high rankings within the standards of Centers for Medicaid/Medicare services, as well as the Minnesota Dept. of Health.

Responsible for all operations in a 72 bed long-term care

facility.
