The following hitch Transocean phased out the Rover position and I was promoted to a floorhand.

Sub Contractor

Sub contracting through 5280 Stone in Fredrick Colorado. Did all laser templating of custom countertops on site with customers or site leads. Along with applications for C.A.D programming.
5280 Stone would send me out to job sites as the initial set of eyes and ears for the upcoming projects. Along with the C.A.D drawings, I provided in-depth notes to help with the fabrication and installation process.
Coordinated with clients to assess needs and develop tailored solutions for various projects.
Reviewed architectural plans and consulted with clients to gain a deeper understanding of project plans, constraints, and objectives.
Implemented changes requested by customers, designers, and inspectors to conform to specifications or updated demands.
This job allowed me free time most afternoons, to go and work at a friends custom cabinet shop. Most afternoons I would get to "Out of Sight Custom Cabinets" and put in 4-6 hours working in the fabrication shop on their saw, CNC, and edge banding machines.

Saw Operator/Forklift Operator
Desert Eagle Stone
10.2014 - 01.2018
First job out of high school in the Stone fabrication shop. Started as a shop hand helping handle granite and quartz slabs with the forklift operator at the time. Would do anything that was asked of me even new tasks on my own and quickly became a jack of all trades in the shop.
Worked my way into fabrication and polishing the cut stone with hand grinders and polishers.
Upon our Forklift operators absence, I stepped in and took the job of the forklift operator. Within the week I was forklift certified through OSHA and this became my main job in the shop.
Communicated with floor managers to determine merchandise placement.
Offloaded all trucks with shipments of slabs and materials. Either in containers of flat bed trucks.
My work ethic was noticed and management moved me up to be the "Fusion" operator. The Fusion was the focal point in the fabrication shop, it is a programmed saw and waterjet all in one. At this point all shop production was based upon my output, getting everything cut to be fabricated and finished. This position required long hours and intense manual labor. Frequent maintenance to the machine was required and I stayed on top of my PMs to avoid down time.
It was imperative to always arrive first and always the last to leave and lock up for the night.
Collaborated with team members to optimize workflow and improve production efficiency.
Monitored safety protocols to ensure compliance within the work environment.
