I am expected to plan out all lessons and gather all materials and have them ready a few days prior to the class that I will be teaching. I am also expected to manage the class room that I am in and keep the kids focused and engaged. The prevention education that I provide is evidenced based education on drugs and alcohol but also education regarding social-emotional learning. We also teach them Good communication skills, Good decision Making, and How to set goals for themselves.
