I joined the workforce in the Hartland Taco Bell junior year of high school. I started as a crew member, working and improving skills in service, later becoming cross-trained and able to make orders and handle customers. Managers noticed the drive and passion I had at the store. Received multiple recommendations to become a manager. I was trained on the job as an acting manager for months. Studied food and safety guidelines, Operations of the store, and How to be an effective shift manager. I received a bench (exam required for promotion). I became the youngest shift manager at the Hartland location. I keep the store clean. The workers and I are productive. I have earned respect from my team members, not only through my title but also through my character. I have opened and closed the store. I regularly work nights closing the store. I will not just inform you that I am an asset to a business; I will show you through my work and dedication.
