It is considered the first advanced and modern nuclear medicine center in Iraq. The center contributes to covering medical services for cancer patients in central and southern Iraq. It's contains modern medical equipment in nuclear and positron imaging (PET/CT scan, SPECT/CT & DEXA scan), in addition to a modern on-site cyclotron for radioactive isotopes production. Most importantly, the center relies on international protocols in diagnostic imaging and Theranostic.

• PET & PET/CT: F18 FDG PET/CT, Ga68 DOTATOC PET/CT, Ga68/F18 PSMA PET/CT.
• Gamma camera & SPECT/CT: (over 60 different procedures examining most organs in the body).
• Radionuclide therapy: - Radioactive Iodine therapy for benign and malignant Thyroid tumors - Peptide receptors radionuclide therapy (PRRT) treatment for Neuroendocrine tumors by Lu177 DOTATAE - PSMA-targeted Radioligand Therapy (PRLT) for treatment of mCRPC.

• Provided acute medical care in a high-volume emergency department, managing trauma cases, road traffic accidents, burns, and mass casualty incidents.
• Developed proficiency in wound management, including debridement, suturing, and infection control.
• Assisted in the burn unit, focusing on advanced wound care, fluid resuscitation, and pain management.
• Supported obstetric emergencies by stabilizing laboring patients, monitoring fetal heart rates, and assisting in emergency interventions.
