Reading, Counseling and Family time.

Being an effective teacher-leader requires a lot of reading in order to stay informed and relevant in the classroom; especially for science intrusive-minds like myself.  I love meeting new people and learning new things.  Having good communication skills and being a good listener are essential skills to have as 21st century innovators.  And, as an ordained minister of 29 years, I have found these skills to be positively impactful and even life changing.   However, nothing brings me greater joy than spending quality time with family and close friends, because I discovered  that family is truly one of life's greatest commodities.
