Quality Control / Manual Machinist

EthosEnergy
Houston, TX

  • I perform detailed inspections on a wide range of gas turbine components, focusing on critical interference fits, clearances, and dimensional requirements. This includes measuring bearing journals, rotor assemblies, diaphragms, turbine blades, and nozzle segments, as well as recording precise dimensional data and TIR readings to ensure components meet engineering specifications. I work closely with engineering teams to review and validate clearance targets, discuss any deviations, and help determine the best course of action. Through this hands-on experience, I’ve developed a strong understanding of how each component interacts within the turbine system and the importance of accuracy, consistency, and clear communication in maintaining overall turbine performance and reliability.
