I am a young and eager college student who is currently in the Pre-Pharmacy program at the University of Kansas. Although I have no prior experience as a Pharmacy Technician, I believe that my prior work experience, my willingness to learn, and the content I have covered thus far at school would allow for a smooth transition into the world of pharmacy.
As a driving range attendant, it was my job to make sure the range was always in pristine condition for the members. This included picking up every ball on the range, washing them so they looked brand new, and replacing them on the shelves for sale. Additionally, I assisted the head pros in leading junior golf camps such as the PGA Jr. League. This consisted of instructing young kids how to play the game, what proper etiquette looked like, and the lessons that come from the game of golf.
As a caddy at such a prestigious course, I had many jobs catered toward the maintenance of the course. Examples include raking bunkers, filling in divots, and repairing ball marks. However, the most important aspect of my job was interacting with members and making sure they felt comfortable while out on the golf course. During this time I learned how to communicate with the public on a much deeper level, and established relationships with many successful people.
