Biography

Drew Wyman has served in the role of Executive Director of the Alzheimer’s Association, Maine Chapter since 2020. He leads efforts to provide education and support to all those facing Alzheimer’s and other dementias throughout the state, including people living with the disease, caregivers, families, and health care professionals. In addition, the Association advocates for the needs and rights of those facing dementia and advances critical research toward methods of treatment, prevention, and ultimately a cure. Drew has worked for the Maine Chapter since 2016, serving in other roles including Director of Communications. Previously, he worked for SironaHealth and the Maine Island Trail Association. Drew holds a degree in communications from University of Southern Maine and has over 20 years of experience in the non-profit sector and five years in the corporate arena. Drew is an accomplished musician and holds the unofficial honor of first call session player at Acadia Recording Co. and appears on dozens of independent recordings across genres. Also, as an in-demand player, he performs regularly in Maine and New Hampshire with multiple artists. He enjoys mountain biking, hiking, and the culinary offerings of Portland.
