I am responsable for ensuring that the organization incorporates created health equity policy in everyday practices both externally and internally in collaboration with HR. As a director my job job duties also includes identifying health inequities , community engagement on the social determinants of health, determining and creating evidence based approaches that address and produce results to the issues surrounding health inequities. As the director I identifiy ways to statistically measure from a qualitatitive or quantitative approach the success and challenges of cretated strategies. As the director I constantly promote in a professional, transparent, and fair manner, solutions that promotes health equity and access. As the director I report to the COO and manage outreach to community stakeholders and employess. This role was cretaed as a response to the identified deficiencies that were realized in light of the COVID pandemic. It involves a great deal of creative thought and the ability to move created strategies forward that change communities as well as employee satisfaction scores. As the director I am tasked to have the confidence to work independently and be strong in the area of time management. As the director I am also familiar with process with established certifications from such platforms as Lean Six Sigma process. This position is also responsible for the implementation and evaluation of performance improvement projects and related data, clinical procedures, protocols, research, and collegial staff education regarding the effective utilization of spiritual care in the end-of-life environment. As the manager of spiritual care I was responsible for the hiring and development of new employees, the education and mentoring of chaplains, managing triage and night chaplain schedules, and providing direct patient care as needed. This position is responsible to the Director of Coordinated Care.
