
I have over 26 years of experience in teaching; this includes all levels of teaching from pre-k to university level. I have over 17 years of teaching in higher education systems, in both Universities and Colleges. I have a Ph.D. in Chemistry and I hold a 6-12 secondary science teacher certification with a Level 3A instructional leader.

In addition to earning a PhD in Chemistry, I have a BA in Graphic Design with a minor in French from UTEP, and studied painting restoration, part of an intense program at Lorenzo D’Medici School in Florence Italy.
These skills were employed when my research was financially supported by the Getty foundation; this research has domestic patents and well as international patents.
