Work History

VP of Shared Services

Miller Electric Company
02.2016 - 12.2023
  • I was hired to bring structure, policies, positive culture and leadership to areas where historically there had been little attention given
  • Accounting, administrative operations, Contracts, Fleet, Payroll, Facilities and Service software Created job descriptions, policies, and step by step instructions in all areas needed
  • Automated everything possible in all areas by creating email groups, maximizing the use of existing software’s and rolling out new software’s where needed
  • Created consistent processes across all departments to minimize duplication of efforts, for example: taking AP entry down from 17 days to enter to 3
  • As I took on new departments, I would find key employees to help lead any change that may be needed to make each department more efficient
  • A great example was moving Fleet to Enterprise and begin Leasing vehicles instead of purchasing, overall this saved time and about 10-12% annually on over 400 vehicles
  • Worked very closely with IT in evaluating new software and giving honest feedback about the impact the software may have on the entire company
