As the Director of Program Assessment and Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI), I lead initiatives to evaluate and enhance program effectiveness, ensuring alignment with school EPO's. I developed and implemented comprehensive assessment strategies that utilize both qualitative and quantitative data to drive decision-making. I serve on the Curriculum Committee, Chair the Assessment and Evaluation Subcommittee and has assisted in LCME preparation for accreditation review.
In this position, I played a role as a central part of the Student Life team. I worked closely with residential undergraduate students and lead them through their personal and spiritual development. As an adjunct faculty member, I taught sections of the Practical Skills and Spiritual Formation courses in the Seminary and College of Arts and Sciences, respectively.
In this role, I oversaw all academic affairs for the campus. I managed the Program Coordinators as well as the Full-Time and Adjunct staff. I was tasked with auditing, advancing, and administering the degree (Associate of Science in Medical Assisting) and certificate programs (HVAC, BMR and CDL) academic advising and personnel management. I led the campus as a part of the management team in assessing programmatic viability and recommended adaptations to the academic programs. The campus announced its closing in June 2018.
In this position, I designed the layout, wrote curriculum, procured, and managed supplementary content in an online learning management system created in conjunction with the ministry arm of the television network. I used my skills in creating course content to lead my team, produce courses, lessons and modules while housing them on a LearnDash LMS platform we lifewithchrist.com.st.com. The system is designed as an engagement tool for supporters globally
Apart from teaching Religion, Critical Thinking and Humanities, I led advising efforts and tutoring for the student population both on-ground and asynchronously. Five short months after hire as an adjunct, I was promoted to Associate Campus Dean for the Columbia Campus. In that role, I issued directives and oversaw academic operations and assigned staff roles. As Course Lead, I managed a cohort of over 70 instructors across the country.
As an accomplished community organizer and coordinator, I have been featured on national television (700 Club) and radio (NPR and On Point! with Cynthia Hardy). As a top-notch instructor, I won the Strayer University Engagement Challenge four consecutive times in 2014. In 2013, I was awarded for Outstanding Academic Service by Strayer University. In 2016, I was presented a resolution by the South Carolina House of Representatives for community engagement and service during the tragic flood of 2015. In January 2018, I was inducted into the Alpha Beta Kappa National Honor Society. In 2021, I was invited to the White House as a special guest to President Joseph and Dr. Jill Biden. I am a current member of the Township Auditorium Executive Board, appointed by Richland County Council. Finally, in November of 2022, I was appointed to the Charleston Southern University Board of Directors.
