  • Served as Mechanical Work leader to efficiently replace and align 2 rotary retraction engine hydraulic pumps on TC-7 Patuxent River, a research and testing catapult facility for the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter
  • Managed and Directed over 500 man hours as a stand in Mechanic Work leader for a crew of 2 artisans as well as 30+ sailors, in cooperation with Carrier and Field service Unit/ Lakehurst engineering in successfully completing a Catapult Cylinder Peening/ Cover Alignment Procedure on the Lakehurst Test Catapult
  • Expertly led a crew of 3 ALAD artisans in the removal/replacement of 2 Arresting Gear Retractable Sheeve Through down Bearings on the USS George H.W Bush (CVN-77)
  • Encompassing approximately 150 man hours
  • Perform repairs, overhauls, and support to C13 Mod 1, and Mod 2 catapult equipment and arresting gear onboard all active United States Aircraft Carriers

  • As a Quality Insurance Inspector, I oversaw over 100 maintenance actions to ensure all personnel where following maintenance procedures as well as completing on time and correctly
  • (QA) Supervised more than 500 scheduled and corrective maintenance actions.Using Precision Measuring Equipment (PME) to inspect all tolerance maintenance
  • Experienced and proficient in hydraulic valve repair and hydraulic equipment

  • Operated and maintained all sixteen E-28 shore based Arresting Gear Engines as well as the two IFLOLS and seven FLOLS
  • As a Quality Insurance Inspector I ran a crew of seven sailors and supervised the evolution of all eight Airfield Certifications with minimal discrepancies
  • I have obtained the knowledge and skills to rebuild E-28 Arresting Gear Engines, along with current and proper procedures to inspect and replace preventive maintenance items and CSI items
  • While onboard NAS OCEANA I won the 2020 Shore-Based Aircraft Launch and Recovery Equipment Technician of the Year and was awarded a Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal.
