During my undergrad, I spent 5 years at The Boys and Girls Club working to become a seasoned Youth Development Professional who was well-versed in modeling values like respect and responsibility with a hands-on approach. I'm an Analytical problem-solver with a forward-thinking mentality, who took all this new found experience into my next position as a Child Youth Program Assistant with an understanding of special needs, conditions, dietary restrictions and physical impairments. While there I continued to focus on becoming an effective performer knowledgeable in child and youth development principles, while also remaining highly energetic and patient with dynamic organizational and time management skills. During my MSW program I interned as an Associate Clinical Social Worker at the Vista Community Clinic where I gained valuable experience with client assessments, treatment plans, and therapeutic interventions. I also interned at the Vista Murrieta High School where I continued to utilize effective communication and problem-solving skills to address client needs, foster positive outcomes, gain further knowledge of crisis intervention techniques and community resource coordination.
