  • In addition to these skill sets I also learned the education, insight, and understanding of liquid helium filling, and the use of the MRI machine which is used to perform in depth magnetic resonance imaging of the anatomy of the human body.

  • Operated 3 train Cryo plant
  • Purpose of Cryo plant is to clean up incoming gas and liquefy Ethane, Propane, Butane, Pentane, and Hexane by pressure drop
  • These cryo liquids are called Y-Grade NGLs
  • Only the Methane is kept in gas form and often referred to as natural gas
  • Monitored and operated the Amine system which helps assist in Carbon Dioxide and Hydrogen sulfide removal
  • Delta V engineering control systems
  • During the early development of our Midstream plant the Board operations were responsible for Pipeline Control and Gas Control

Hydrogen/ CO Plant Operations

  • Operate carbon monoxide manufacturing plant to supply PPG Industries CO for their chloroformate eye glass lens manufacturing business
  • Monitor and maintain correct p.h
  • And dissolved solids in our boiler water treatment department
  • Access samples of mono ethanol amines (MEA) from our carbon dioxide (CO2) section of the plant, also called MEA towers, Absorber and Stripper columns
  • OSHA HAZWOPER 40 hour and current, training on yearly basis
  • Also operated 2 hydrogen facilities, one in Butte, Montana and the other in Leechburg, Pennsylvania
  • The operations technician would log into the Hydrogen plant therefore taking control of the facility remotely
  • Very familiar with Piping and Instrumentation drawings (P& ID) and symbols, functions, and properties
  • Operate with a Foxboro and Allen Bradley Programmable Logic Controller (PLC)
  • First Aid and CPR certified
  • Maintained a monthly calibration/bump test report on all CO monitors, LEL monitors, and MSA Altair personal monitors
  • Participated in process safety management (PSM), Process safety analysis (PSA) and root cause analysis RCA’s
  • Filled Carbon Monoxide trailers via liquid pump thru ambient vaporizers into high pressure gas
