My name is Duke Hales, and I have dedicated this chapter of my life to helping others become the best version of themselves—physically, mentally, and emotionally. Through a unique blend of lived experience, professional growth, and a deep desire to serve, I have found my calling in supporting individuals on their journey toward healing and self-improvement.
Over the years, I have worked closely with people from all walks of life, guiding them through transformative health journeys using exercise, counseling, and recovery-focused strategies. I’ve witnessed firsthand how movement and mindfulness can restore confidence, clarity, and hope. Whether it was helping someone rebuild their physical strength or supporting someone through addiction recovery, I have always believed in the power of consistency, compassion, and connection.
As someone in long-term recovery myself, I bring not only empathy but also accountability and direction to those who trust me with their stories. My work as a mentor and life coach has been especially rewarding—empowering both peers and young adults to overcome adversity, identify their purpose, and create lives of meaning. From informal mentoring to structured counseling and coaching, I’ve seen how powerful it can be to simply walk beside someone through their struggles and successes.
I have started and ran two successful businesses.
In my late twenties I started a youth football and cheer program, the Piedmont Panthers. In the beginning we had about forty kids, when I stepped down we had 300 kids. It is still running strong today, helping youth in the triad area.
