Hello, my name is Duke. a little summary of myself is that i'm a hard worker. Day and night. I take pride on working hard and consistently but most importantly safely no matter where or what the task is. I feel working with others even as teams is a huge thing to me and close to my heart. I want others around me, including myself as well to succeed but to also feel safe and take value away from the task at hand . . Aviation is in my blood. As i ultimately strive to become an airline pilot i would have to say ramp work is a close second. I've done a few things in life that i am super grateful to have done as many may not have those same opportunities which has led me to wanting to teach and share with others as much as possible. If i can ad value to a job, organization, co workers as such while maintaining efficiency and safety then i feel i am doing the right thing and going in the right direction and i wouldn't settle for anything less. love being around people and interacting and communicating as i feel its essential to a safe, productive, and hopefully fun work environment.

Band- been playing bass since 2006. Performed live as well in churches, small events with various local bands i have been apart of since about 2011. did that steadily but in 2015 i started another band outside of the church i was attending with some of the worship team members where we got a gig at chic fil a from our pastor who was a manager there. when we performed a 50,60's theme show a talent agent was there and called us the next day about how he liked what he heard. from there we got booked up from 2-5 nights a week 2 years in advance for the next 5 years. last year with them (2019) i made 75k all while still working fulltime as ramp supervisor for united in fort myers. in short, i loved it. never thought id accomplish so much as i never planned on performing to that high of a level. i only planned to do small shows with my band around town here and there or at church. also i started flight training as well since i always had dream to be a pilot.
