At the beginning my role had a large number of tasks:

• Shipping, receiving, and all other warehouse tasks
• International and domestic purchasing
• International shipping & customs management
• Updated e-commerce website to ensure it ran smoothly and products were up to date
• Product photography
• Design & edit catalog and other marketing materials

As the company evolved to a larger operation my role became more focused:

• Hire, train and manage warehouse staff to ensure on-time order fulfillment and eliminate mistakes
• Design and refine systems & processes related to shipping, receiving, returns, and production to increase efficiency
• Manage all aspects related to international shipping and customs paperwork, both inbound and outbound; air, sea and ground.

Managed all aspects of the new facility layout design, and coordinated the physical move to ensure minimal downtime during two separate facility moves.

-Developed new business by making cold-calls and setting appointments for the outside rep

-Followed up on new and existing leads persistently to ensure the sales process moved forward

-Logged and recorded all sales activity to ensure the account was always up to date for the outside rep as well as management.

-Designed and quoted highly technical projects for new opportunities

-Followed up with customer and internal project team post-sale to ensure customer satisfaction.
