University president was hosting Swedish Delegation. During which a false fire alarm occurred, and power was lost campus wide coupled with minor earthquake. Calmed delegation down. Called power company for expected ETA on resolution to keep president up to date, transitioned plated lunch into outdoor BBQ, as indoor catering facility was no longer operable without power. Event was still successful.
Clients expressed desire to create "one stop shop" combining event space and catering. Worked with catering director to create full-service packages that allowed us to meet needs of different sized meetings and different levels of meetings.
