My name is Dustin Hairel, but I go by Dusty. I’ve lived in Fort Payne, AL my entire life. I’ve had a job since I was 16 years old. I left Devan Lowe GM car dealership in 2011 to go work at Plasman, an automotive manufacturing company, where I gained the knowledge and skills necessary to help the Paint Department fulfill the needs of major automotive companies like GM, Ford, Mazda/Toyota, Kia, and Honda to name a few. I left Plasman in February of 2021 to pursue college, but unfortunately the program I attended just wasn't the right fit for me. I have a strong work ethic and have close to 10 years of experience in an automotive manufacturing setting. I’m looking for an opportunity to work somewhere that has a good work/life balance since I have children in middle school, and with an opportunity for growth within the company.

- Monitor and test pre wash stages and sludge pit for proper PH, conductivity, TSS, and temperatures.

- Perform daily 5S in all areas of the paint system and meet with team members to go over issues from the previous shift.
- Keep all chemicals labeled and in compliance with standard health and safety procedures.
- Make sure proper PPE is in good condition and able to wear.
