- Role: my role as a swamper was to do lockout tagout on mud pit turbines before entering the pits then would gather h2s monitors and 4-8 inch hoses of hundred feet and drag to correct area and connect to the hydro vacs. then we would start process of cleaning the mud pits or frac tanks also would go do oil spills, saltwater tanks and spills. work an average of 120-150 hours week
