  • Provide central leadership and coordination of region-wide annual planning and quarterly rolling forecast processes, encompassing 5 full-scale acute care hospitals with $5B+ in gross charges, insurance division with $585M in revenue, ambulatory service center with $250M+ in gross charges, medical group operations with 250M+ annual revenues, $200M+ in multi-tier corporate and regional allocations, college of nursing with $20M+ in revenue/tuition, and numerous other business segments
  • Lead and coordinate all facets of capital projects and deliverables for the system
  • This includes the prioritization of our ~$30M local allocation, the submission of major project requests such as our $250M Dublin hospital to be open in 2025, the completion of look-back analyses for major projects, among numerous other recurring and ad hoc responsibilities
  • Provide central leadership and coordination of key monthly processes and reporting such as mid-month forecast, month-end close reporting package, system and hospital balanced scorecards, operating excellence initiatives (OEI), executive presentation preparation, and numerous others
  • Support and lead financial functions such as forecasting, budgeting, month-end variance analysis, and executive reporting for our corporate office
  • I now oversee and speak to the work that the senior director of FP&O formerly oversaw, and that I completed in my former role
  • Regularly engage with executive leadership to communicate summarized financials, risks and opportunities, and answer questions
  • I’ve built relationships with and have become a central contact for system office partners and other health ministries to provide recommendations, test reporting, compare financial methodologies, etc
  • Serve as a key trainer and mentor for staff members to help in their professional development
  • Oversee reporting and other analytical work for our Medical Group finance leader.
