• Manage credit risks of assigned Commercial Real Estate loan portfolio, including completing covenant testing, annual reviews and other monitoring requirements.

External factors, specifically Capital One's then shift in focus away from Investor Real Estate, resulted in Capital One Bank eliminating the Texas division of the Investor Real Estate Department, eliminating several positions, including my own. Shortly thereafter my spouse received a significant job offer that was too good to turn down so the family decided that the best course of action was that I would take over the homemaker and stay-at-home parent duties while my spouse started work full time.

• Internal consultant to bankers for IRE loan requests ranging from $0.5M to $3.0M in the DFW/Northeast Texas territory.
• Processed $50M in loans annually with an average loan amount of $1.5M.
• Supported lending process from initial customer meeting through portfolio review.
• Produced underwriting analysis within a 3-day turn-around time and drafted narrative in support of outcome.
• Performed site inspections and financial variance analyses.
• Trained bankers on new policies and mentored associates as needed.
