Environmental Health and Safety consultant with clients consisting of the U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Navy, and U.S. Army National Guard.
Projects:
U.S. Marine Forces Reserves (MARFORRES), Environmental Compliance and Engineering Technical Support, Annual Command Safety Inspection (ACSI) Lead Safety Assessor. Conducted Annual Command Safety Inspections (ACSIs) at MARFORRES units throughout the Nation, including two territories. Evaluated the units for compliance with federal and local regulations and consensus standards as well as compliance with Department of Defense Instructions (DoDI) and Marine Corps Orders (MCO). Identified deficiencies were documented in a report including root causes and recommended corrective actions for each deficiency.
U.S. Army National Guard; Environmental Program Assessment System (EPAS).
Environmental Assessor. Responsibilities include conducting field audits; researching federal, state, and local regulations; determining root causes; and developing corrective actions. Facilities assessed included aviation and wheeled and tracked vehicle maintenance shops. EPAS assesses compliance with the following environmental regulations: RCRA Subpart C, D, and I; CWA; EPCRA; NEPA; NHPA; CERCLA/SARA; SDWA; TSCA; FIFRA; and other federal, state, and local regulations.
Naval Air Station, Fall Protection Survey.
Conducted an evaluation of naval facility buildings to identify fall hazards associated with the buildings. Survey was conducted for over 220 facilities. Fall hazards were visually identified and reported following the Navy Fall Protection Guide.
