Starbucks Coffee Master (2011-Current)- Coffee Masters are champions for coffee. They cultivate coffee curiosity, invite others to learn and regularly share their coffee passion. I have always believed that Coffee is at the heart of our heritage and culture at Starbucks. From handcrafting the highest-quality beverages to sharing moments of connection over a cup of coffee. As a Coffee Master for the past 12 years, I have been able to share my love for coffee, expertise and knowledge, while creating additional opportunity for individuals to advance in their coffee journey. I have been able to facilitate and lead 31 Partners through the Coffee Master Program over the past year. This includes leading various calls centered around Coffee Academy and organizing a graduation ceremony where Partners receive their black apron.
New Store Opening (2018)- Opening a new store provided me an opportunity to create the Starbucks Experience from the ground up. With careful planning – and a little flexibility - I was able to open the doors and see my team come together to delight customers and create the next Third Place in our Rochester community.
Store Manager Trainer (2018-Current)- Since becoming an SM Trainer in 2018, I have been proud to train multiple store managers in my district and surrounding districts. As an SMT, my responsibilities included:
□ Create a welcoming experience for the new partner □ Prepare for the new partner’s training by reviewing the SM Trainer Support Kit □ Conduct weekly Plan Together conversations □ Train the partner according to the training plan □ Act as a role model for the new partner □ Recognize accomplishments and provide feedback on areas to improve □ Support the partner’s training by reviewing the Challenges and answering questions □ Provide the new SM with an opportunity to practice components of the SM Approach □ Conduct weekly Connect & Reflect conversations □ Communicate the partner’s progress to their manager □ Understand how to access training materials
Partners for Sustainability Partner Network (2020-Present)- I joined the Partners for Sustainability Partner Network in 2021 with a mission to educate, engage and empower Starbucks partners to drive sustainable change. I have been able to organize many waterfront and park cleanups in the Rochester Area including annual involvement in the "Make Rochester a Litter Bit Better" event.
Dual Store Manager (March 2023-June 2023)- Managed two store locations across different states with a range of 20-30 Partners each.
