I am a Certified EMT who has been in the field for over 20 years. I have worked for ambulances and in emergency rooms. Although I am not currently a full-time EMT, I maintain my license and participate in volunteer EMT events. This season, I participated in EMT games for an all-women's semi-pro football team. I am family-oriented and enjoy spending time with my loved ones. I have also always been drawn to the water. As a child, I grew up and explored the coasts and seas. I love kayaking, fishing, paddleboarding, and relaxing on the beach.
Actively engaged in community service and leadership. Awarded multiple college scholarships for academic excellence and for breaking barriers as a woman in a male-dominated field. Served on various local boards, including the Laguna Vista Parks and Recreation Board, and held the position of Vice Chairman on the Laguna Madre Youth Center Board for six years. Recently elected as Commissioner for the Port Isabel/San Benito Navigation District, winning a large district election by over 700 votes.
