Facilitated a EDR/EDM training with the assistance of EDM/EDR Certified Official Sid Milden.
I officially became EDM/EDR certified during COVID in 2021
I was fortunate to have had access ta a Gowin total station from Icahn stadium Under Sid Milden's tutilage I as able to practice in Sid Milden's backyard, various City parks, and 12th Rock Throws Ministries during the shut down
Under Sid Milden's watch, I was able to learn about the machine, as well as Fieldlynx; by practicing using both during the shutdown
Towards the end of the shutdown 12th Rock Throws Ministries in NY began hosting social distancing throws series Those Meets allowed me and Certified EDM Operator Sid Milden, the only Official in the area with a total station, to be their long throws EDM Operator from August 2020 to September 2022
I am applying for the position of EMJ (Electronic Measurement Judge) to assist Officials who show an interest in electronic measurement to become knowledgeable of the procedures and protocols set forth by USATF.
When I was learning the basics of the specialty I was able to reach out to Sid Milden, Connie Tolbert-McClinton, Mark Heckel, Anthony James, and Kyile LeBlanc for guidance.
Currently, as a skilled and versatile Certified Master EDM/ EDR Specialist, I still use those resources and relationships in Sid Milden, Mark Heckel, Connie Tolbert-McClinton, Anthony James and others that I have met along the way as professional consultants and advisors.
I am easily accessible to everyone that I have helped learn EDM/ EDR and will continue to do so should I be considered eligible to become an Electronic Measurement Judge.
