Drives and operates various apparatuses. Participates in all fire suppression activities. Responds to all calls to 911. Responds to emergency medical calls and renders emergency medical care. Conducts fire inspections. Participates in public awareness campaigns.

Responds to a variety of emergency calls including: Structure fires in residential and commercial areas, vehicle accidents with extrication, hazardous materials, marine responses and rescues. Operates all tools and items required for fire suppression. Performs search and rescue operations. Assesses patients and administers first aid. Provides fire and safety education.

Operates and maintains a variety of vehicles and equipment. Patrols park, trails and waterways. Represents park acting as community contact. Performs various grounds and maintenance tasks.

Patient care and transport. Completion of daily patient care reports. Daily vehicle and medical equipment inspections.

Initiation and completion of commercial irrigation and landscape projects throughout the Bay Area.

Operation of handheld power tools and heavy equipment. Supervision of project operations, strategy and safety including assignment of work details, coordination of equipment and materials, work logs, site personnel and weekly safety meetings.
