I am a twenty-one year old Mechanical Engineering major at Florida State University as well as an apprentice automotive technician. I strive to mold my future by working towards combining hands on skill with a strong mind. Every day I push myself to overcome the obstacles of maintaining a good work-life balance by ensuring I give as much as I can to my studies and career as well as my friends and family. My path towards higher education began with moving from Saint John’s County, FL to Tallahassee to attend Tallahassee State College where I started to pursue Construction Management before deciding that I didn’t want the path I take in life to be easy. So, I switched to Mechanical Engineering and worked my way to Florida State while working a job that plays into my interests and studies.
