Dynamic and observant professional with a proven track record at Herzog Transit Services Inc. Skilled in maintaining safety and efficiency while managing diverse teams. Known for staying calm under pressure and effectively de-escalating challenging situations. Great at troubleshooting and ensuring operational excellence, consistently delivering high-quality results.
My Duty as a Conductor at The Tre is to open and close doors in a timely matter to keep the train on a strict schedule for Passengers at all stations. I keep an updated Delay Report of all of my Passengers boarding and deboarding. I also troubleshoot problems we may encounter with doors or motor issues while running on the main line. I am very good at handling passengers whether it be well behaved or sometimes unruly passengers. I can de-escalate most situations just with tone of voice, body language, and show interest in the passengers concerns. I have learned a lot about switching in the yard and have gotten comfortable but not complacent while performing switch moves and dealing with our equipment. Yard duties include everything from shoving, cutting and splitting, throwing switches, but most of all being safe and efficient at all times during switching tasks. I’ve learned to communicate very well with Supervisors, Dispatchers, and my Engineers with needed information and updates as needed.
My Duties as a Flagger was to watch over Form Bs and Lookout Jobs throughout the TRE and Madill Railroad areas that Herzog Flagged for. I would get to the office early and get my Boards, Paperwork, Radio and all Equipment needed for the day loaded up and ready to go. I would then set the boards up and brief the crews that I was looking after that day. Some days it would be 5 guys with shovels and some days it would be 100 workers with heavy equipment. With the training I was giving and the team that I worked with, nothing bad ever happened on our job sites and we always ran a tight ship.
I had around 80 accounts I was in charge of in Dallas. I would drive to each account and take care of their draft beer systems. I would service all 80 accounts every two weeks and make sure the draft systems were working as intended.
Install Gutters on all types of houses and work with Customers on what they wanted and make things work the way they wanted it to and still have the gutters perform as intended.
My Job would be to schedule meetings with Oil Field Companies in Midland Tx and getting surveys planned out concerning Drilling Locations and Pipeline Routes and all of the Construction that those locations came with. I had a Rodman with me at all times in the field while we surveyed out entire oil locations from start to finish. I would then bill the companies for the work we performed for them that day on the project back at the office once finished. I was in charge of my own company truck and the survey equipment at all times. We would be in Midland Tx Monday through Friday every week.

Staying Calm- In certain situations where it can be very stressful and tense, I can remain calm and work and think through things rationally to get good safe results other than freaking out and making the wrong decisions
