I thrive in chaotic situations, and thoroughly enjoy a EMS setting but as of late i have found a love for the investigation side of the medical world. I have impeccable references from many medical professionals and government professionals. I love overtime, and i do not mind a hectic schedule. If i say something you can "take it to the bank" and i am a person where if i say something i follow through 100% of the time. If you call any of my references they will elaborate on that as well. I don't mind long shifts 12 hour, 16 hour, or even longer.
I am interested in this position long term, as a place to learn and further my knowledge & eventually many years from now retire from. Thank you for your consideration!
Full disclosure, in my younger years i did have a drinking problem and do have misdemeanors on my record that i am not proud of. But i learned from all of it & have 5 years of sobriety as of February 14th. I can provide reference letters from legal professionals and community advocates if needed, as i am very active in my community with reaching out to help others discover sobriety.
Advanced EMT in a ALS setting. Part time only. Exact starting month is approximate.
I served as a MDI until approximately 8 months ago where i took over as the MDI Program supervisor and Deputy Medical Examiner for the County. It ended up turning into me doing it alone, until i went in front of the county commission to request what i needed and they approved of it. I currently run the program as a supervisor under the Mayor & EMS Director where i designed the scheduling and protocols/procedures which are working flawlessly to date. I manage 3 MDI's and also do field investigations alongside them.
