I value safety and doing the best i can at any task no matter small or large. I perform well under pressure and stressful situations. Im always willing to learn and excell at anything i do. I operate well with a team and build respectful relationships with fellow co workers and maintenance team. I have been assigned different roles during unit shut downs and catalyst regenerations, including unit lock out tag out / blinding, and vessel tracking. I have been to butler community college multiple times for industrial fire brigade training. I have been to catalyst reforming seminars and i have completed Refining and Distillation training courses. Hopefully i get to join this amazing team and provide my knowledge and skills to become an asset to the organization!

Conversion Unit Process Operator

  • -Conduct unit rounds throughout shift to ensure operation is running correctly and safely.
  • -Monitor pump pressures and oil levels and complete preventive maintenance on all equipment.
  • -Safely collect samples throughout process to ensure product is on spec with customer needs.
  • -Understand the process of hydro cracking oil and sour naphtha with high pressure Exothermic/Endothermic Reactors, combined feed exchangers, cooling exchangers, and fired heaters.
  • -Safely and confidently shut down, purge, and lock out equipment for maintenance to be completed.
  • -operate fuel gas units using caustic and water to remove H2s from untreated fuel gas.
  • -Operate flare gas recovery unit to ensure safe flaring if needed during unit upsets, power failures, and equipment failure.
