Dylan Larson

Working as a structural carpenter (framer), I have become very familiar with working from tall heights reaching close to 40 feet. With such working environments, I’ve become very efficient in going up and down ladders, as well as being comfortable work off of man lifts and scaffolding.This trade has also given me the opportunity of operating a wide variety of power tools and heavy machinery. In the time I’ve worked as a framer, I have had to do lots of demolition during slow new construction months. This experience has allowed me to learn how to safely dismantle a building with reducing its structural value. Lastly, having experience working outside in hot summer months, I have become very use to high temperature working environment.

During my time working for the university, I work for the schools on campus tech store and service department. My responsibilities were mostly prioritized around having a great knowledge on technology, but most importantly, maintaining excellent customer service to ensure the person was well taken care of and their technological problem was resolved. My duties also involved helping customers locate products and checking the store system for merchandise at other sites. This greatly familiarized me to computer systems and item cataloging.
