At Hwi, I excelled as a Refractory Tech, mastering hardware troubleshooting and enhancing my problem-solving abilities. Demonstrating hard work and multitasking, I efficiently prepared and processed tundish dishes for steel pouring, significantly contributing to operational efficiency. My proactive approach and dedication to quality set new standards in the tundish yard. As we would have to troubleshoot different things happening, such as tools, breaking and being able to fix them gates, getting stuck on dishes, having to cut them off. And more.
Working in a tundish yard, tearing down hot dishes, we would also build all the dishes, such as cleaning them out, prepping them, so then we would be able to bake them. After we would bake those tundishs dishes. We would furniture them cover them, put paperwork on them and then be able to set them in a crossover for the 341 crane to be able to take them upstairs and pour steel into them.
