I recently returned home from serving a 2 year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I served in Sacramento, California where I was able to share my happiness and what I know to be true with other people. Serving in California gave me an opportunity to not only serve but also work with people from all around the world. On my mission, we learned many skills like interacting with people, genuinely listening to them and building lasting relationships. I was also able to learn how to deal with many hardships I'd faced the mission has taught me patience and respect when dealing with confrontational people. On this 2 year mission we have limited contact with our family because as missionaries we learn to dedicate and consecrate our efforts towards the task we were faced with everyday. I can say that my mission has helped me develop skills i know i cannot learn anywhere else.
