I am a Clinical Social Worker dedicated to supporting survivors of trauma, particularly children and families affected by sexual abuse and assault. Utilizing evidence-based therapies like Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), I help clients heal and build resilience. My experience includes collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, most recently within the Child Advocacy Program at Dawson Place Child Advocacy Center, to provide comprehensive care to children navigating complex legal and child welfare systems. With an MSW from the University of Washington, specializing in clinical work with children and families, and a BSW from Evangel University, I am committed to expanding services and resources for marginalized communities. I aim to bridge clinical practice with macro-level impact by advocating for policy change and contributing to community and program development. I am passionate about creating equitable mental health systems that address both access to care and the social determinants of health. As a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker Associate (LICSWA), Mental Health Professional (MHP), and Child Mental Health Specialist (CMHS) in Washington State, I continue to work toward advancing social justice through direct clinical work, advocacy, and systemic change.
