In this position I carefully review customer service mail for any address changes or special requests on incoming packages to arrive that day. I identify any damaged or distressed packages within the dock(s) that I am responsible for. In the event contents are assessed to be damaged or missing, I complete an online Damaged Package Report. If contents are complete and undamaged, I repack parcels as timely as possible, ensuring they can still make it to their destination on time. Each day, I also contact customers to acquire any missing information needed to deliver their parcel, and to confirm accuracy of information where there is a discrepancy. I collaborate with shippers and customer service representatives to implement special requests in an attempt to achieve the best service possible for both shipper and recipient, exceeding expectations wherever possible.

I was largely depended on to precisely load trailers, maximizing limited space to ensure load efficiency. Also, I unloaded trailers at a brisk pace, being cautious not to drop or damage any packages or their contents. I was entrusted to learn and work a specialized area where attention to detail was critical. This duty required using zip code charts, which were constantly changing, to split off packages to multiple load doors to ensure timely arrival at their correct destination. I was successful in this position, which required flexibility to be able break away from my own task or work area to assist others when they fell behind. I enjoy being challenged and helping others, and I find it very satisfying to be able to balance keeping my own work caught up, while consistently helping others on the team.
