- My responsibilities included scanning customers’ items for the orders.
- After scanning in the item, the correct cubby would light up blue, and I would place the item there and press the button to turn the light off, indicating it was in place.
- I also packed customer orders which I knew were ready when the button lit up bread.
- Once I packed, I placed them on the conveyor belt; other duties included replenishing boxes at the packing station, replacing the world of packing tape in the machine when it ran out, and doing the same with printer tape if things got slow and there was no packing or scanning to do.
- We would sweep up.
