Besides my listed coffee experience, I have had a personal passion for the crafting of coffee drinks for many years.

I've brewed coffee on several industry standard espresso machines regularly in my home and friends since 2014; recently, in 2020, after getting into proper pour-over technique and feeling the need for something new, I began brewing on the Hario Syphon with great success.

  • Last summer, I was asked to run a barista-bar for a two-day weekend wedding! Around 150 people showed up. It was a great experience talking with folks about new coffee and sharing in the joy during the celebrations
  • For this wedding, I was given a budget and asked to provide the beans I would using, and I ended up being able to use some Proud Mary's espresso blend + some specialty award winning selections from other well known roasters.
