• Cared for patients with Acute/Chronic Lymphoma, leukemia, sickle cell patients of various types and stages.

• Managed various access devices, lines and drains such as: PICC, midline, apheresis ports, central double lumen power ports, dialysis catheters and fistulas, perineal dialysis catheters, foley catheter, trach/lary, GJ tube, Dobhoff tube, NG tube, Blake drains and chest tubes.
• Floated and gained additional experience in various units: Bone marrow transplant, Solid tumors, surgical unit and prison lockdown unit's.

• Managed: chest tubes, feeding tubes, insulin drips, heparin drips, and frequent blood transfusions.
• Assisted in Cerner-to-EPIC EHR conversion.

• Float Pool: Cardiac,Medical/Surgical, Neurology and Nephrology units.

[Travel Crisis Contract] 378 bed facility.

• 32 bed unit Med-Surg Telemetry unit. 1:4 nurse/patient ratio

[Travel Contract] 30 bed COVID unit. 1:5 nurse/patient ratio.

• Initiated multiple code events with experience obtained in each role.
• Proficient in trach care and respiratory interventions.

• 30 bed COVID unit.
• 25 bed Same-day Surgery unit:TURP; Renal biopsy; penile implant; mastectomy etc.
• 24 bed Cardiovascular unit: Managed chest tubes, LVADS, Life vest, and post ICU CABG. Experience with setup and monitoring of external pacer w/removal of wires according to orders.

• 110 bed facility; 28 bed COVID/Med-Surg Unit. 1:5 nurse/patient ratio.

[Permanent Staff]

• 76 bed facility; 27 bed Ortho/ Med-Surg/ Telemetry Unit; 1:6 ratio
• Strong focus on orthopedic surgeries: ALIF/PLIF, laminectomy, total knee and total hip replacements.
