Summary
I have briefly given you a background of my accomplishments in the world of softball and in the cooperate world. I would like to look at the future of this program. There is a lot of talent currently on the Varsity and JV rosters. Not even know what talent is coming in for this season. I do have vision for this program and know what players and coaches need to do to get it there. There are slight adjustments that need to be made to rosters and players approach to practice and games. I feel that knowing these players that they can and will make these adjustments. These players know me and I feel they will play for me. I know how to deal with parents as well. The bottom line is I do care about these kids! I would not apply for the job if I did not. My job as A head coach is to get these players to buy into the program, care about each other, and help them learn lessons as the move into adulthood. I believe I can do this and at the end of the day win games.

CHS JV Head Softball Coach: my job is to teach fundamentals, and leadership skills. To get players ready for the transition to be a Varsity player.
Skills
I have been a softball head coach at all levels Coached all stars and state tournament teams at Liberty Rec for 12u, 14u, and 16u Became an Indiana state certified high school coach in 2020 after joining Chesterton High School as the Head JV Softball Coach I also have been state certified in heat stress, cardiac arrest, concussion protocol, and hazy/bulling in the state of Indiana Out of the world of softball I’m currently a process manager of the #5 Roll Shop of the 80” Hot Strip Mill at Cleveland Cliffs steel facility in East Chicago I hired in December of 2023 and direct 32 individuals on a daily basis Also order all materials, and schedule employees Prior to this I worked at United States Steel in Gary, Indiana for 22 1/2 years With the last 5 years being a union crew leader Which involved directing 34 individuals on a daily basis, ordering material, organizing safety meetings, and scheduling These jobs listed have given me the experience on being a leader for two large cooperations
