Reading Intervention and Readiness

Provided individual and group counseling services for students specific to individual needs regarding academic, personal, behavioral, and career development and progress under the supervision of both school counselors. Created and presented classroom lessons to promote academic, social/emotional, and vocational development. Coordinated programs for Anti-Bullying Prevention, Suicide Prevention Red Ribbon Week, and Career Day for students, staff, and parents. Conducted student registration activities, including assisting with class scheduling.

Specially designed instruction, pre teach, and reteach vocabulary and key concepts. Co-teach and collaborate with general education teacher to implement and support students in the general education setting. Meet minute each week of students, according to schedule of service. CLASS test students and probe in areas of deficiency to assess progress. Update IEP goal progress, make new goals according to the students need. Communicate with parents, general education teachers, and students about concerns and progress. Provide information for ARD committee. Attend ARD meetings to advocate students' needs.
