Summary

I am originally from Spartanburg, South Carolina and moved to Lake City before starting middle school with my mom and younger sister. I was raised by a single mother to be strong, compassionate, and hard working. I have applied those skills at my job not only with clients and patients, but with my co-workers and bosses. I have learned the truth about hard work and dedication. I owe so much to my job for giving me a deeper sense of purpose and a whole new perspective on life and love. I have realized communication barriers such as language, which has encouraged me to begin learning Spanish. I am so grateful to be part of a team and work together through saving lives and sometimes ending lives. I have formed relationships with patients, clients, co-workers, and my bosses that will stick with me forever. It has inspired me to continue chasing my dreams through school and find other creative outlets. A recent creative outlet I found is the electric guitar. I enjoy being able to express emotions through sound. Another passion of mine is being an equestrian for the past fourteen years. I competitively show jump and have started learning dressage. I really love this sport because of the horse-rider connection. You have to communicate what you want to the horse through signals. It is an adrenaline rush which makes it fun and exciting! I plan to follow my dreams and work hard toward my goals. One of my favorite quotes, "Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard."- Tim Notke.
