Serve as the Command Senior Enlisted Leader (CSEL) and subject matter expert to the Commander on the responsibilities of command and institutional standards. Ensures the timely and accurate completion of administrative tasks in support of internal and external correspondence, awards, promotions, MCTFS reporting, and request mast. Assist the Commander in creating a positive command climate and institutional culture focusing on readiness, mission, diversity, inclusion, and accountability. Responsible to the Inspector-Instructor for the personal conduct, physical fitness morale, and professional development of Marine Reservist. Accountable for the administrative correctness and timeliness of all enlisted performance evaluations. Assist the commander in the operational mission of the unit and the
sustainment of unit readiness. Disseminate and enforce all applicable orders and policies throughout the organization.
The First Officer is required to call the Captain’s attention to any deviation from regulations, Company policy or safe operating practices.
Compliance with Company and FAA procedures, directives and regulations affecting the proposed flight.
Performing the duties of the Second-in-Command x(SIC) in accordance with Company Standardization Program.
Aiding the Captain in preflight preparation as appropriate.
Perform a visual preflight (walk-around) inspection prior to each flight.
Perform a visual post-flight inspection after each flight.
Assuming secondarily all responsibilities of the Captain and, in the event the Captain becomes incapacitated, full responsibility of the Captain.
Performing such other duties as may be directed by the Captain.
Analyze Intelligence Databases and vet traveling flight passengers against the Terrorist Watchlist
Conducted research threat analysis in classified work area.
Operated in a classified environment.
