Dynamic and detail-oriented professional with a strong work ethic, experienced at Bates Technical College and Westrock Paper Mill. Proven problem-solver skilled in shipping and receiving, enhancing efficiency through innovative quality control systems. Adaptable team player with excellent communication skills, committed to achieving high customer satisfaction and maintaining safety standards in fast-paced environments. But these are some of the skills that I accumulated over my lifetime working. The company that I work at for many years change hands over the times. It used to be owned by Champion then was sold off to Simpson Tacoma Craft and finally sold it to Westrock Tacoma which is now Westrock Smurf Kappa. The company that I call home for many years finally closed their doors August of 2023, due to overhead costs and unforeseen circumstances. During that time, I was approached by Washington state unemployment and asked if I wanted to go back to school which I accepted. I chose the Diesel Program at Bates Technical College as my venue, because the number of years I've worked for Westrock Tacoma, this particular company I started out as a labor pool working in numerous departments. Eventually I end up working in the maintenance department where I got my breakthrough. Working on equipment like motors, pumps, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems. Gave me a great background foundation. Last move on to Papers Shipping where I got the logistics foundation of my training. Start out as line operator, then move to loading and unloading trucks and rail cars. Finally moving up to the position of shipping clerk. Now I'm at the last leg of my journey, I have graduate from college and now I'm ready to get back into the workforce. Additionally, with all my training, work experience, proper education. I'll be an excellent candidate for whatever is presented in my career path.
