Manage a crew of 5-7 NERC Certified System Operators in a 24/7 control room environment. Manage outage coordination for three line crews and four substations crews along with neighboring entities such as Ameren, Entergy and SPA along with other Missouri G&T Cooperatives. Approve switching orders, clearance orders and hot work hold orders. Control room operates system with voltages from 13 KV distribution up 345 KV. Achieved NERC certification as a Transmission Operator in October of 2019.

Worked a 24/7 rotating shift in a control room environment. Monitored and operated voltages from 15 KV to 345 KV. Operated during adverse weather conditions including tornado, snow and ice storms. Wrote and issued switching orders, clearance orders and hot work hold orders.

Splice fiber optic cables on power lines and in business settings. Troubleshoot communication problems within the fiber network.

Worked on a crew which maintained transmission lines including voltages of 69, 161 and 345 KV. Replaced aging structures and arms as needed. Installed an extensive fiber optic network in Sho Me Powers system including OPGW and ADSS fiber cables. Built small portions of new 69 KV line. Worked ice and snow storms as well as tornado breaks. Operated all equipment including bucket trucks, cranes and earth moving equipment. Achieved Journeyman status in December of 1996

Manage a regional warehouse which distributed to four area stores for all farm supply inventory. Manage a retail outlet selling livestock and pet feed as well farm supplies

Completed basic training at Lacland AFB in San Antonio, TX. Began training as a heavy equipment mechanic at Chanute AFB in Rantoul, IL

Received an Honorable Discharge for Hardship reasons due to the health of my mother.
