Restore adequate voltage to a faulted or fluctuating underground system. Locate and carefully excavate underground faults and make repairs. Coordinate emergency and non emergency locates to the dig-site. Perform maintenance and repairs on underground cables, transformers, transclosures, meters, relay switches and streetlights. Operate heavy machinery including excavator, vaccum truck, concrete saw etc. Use proper safety equipment and abide minimal approach distances when in contact with 120/240v and 15kv cables
