Since the age of 16, I have been able to hold multiple jobs simultaneously while performing them all proficiently. From educating the public to helping keep them cool and safe, I have the skill set gained through experience to work well with others as well as lead others successfully.
- Operated forklifts, tractors, and pallet jacks to transport materials efficiently within the warehouse environment.
- Managed inventory by accurately tracking stock levels and organizing storage areas.
- Making and logging orders for numerous major industrial companies
- Learned and trained others on the ins and outs of various HVAC units and how to troubleshoot them to find and fix any issues.
- Secured major contrats with big companies to supply filters and service HVAC units.
- Maintaining the exhibit space by repairing anything broken, including walls, displays, lights, and touching up the paint.
- Designing and constructing new exhibits, including animal tanks and habitats.
- Designing and constructing high-quality annual displays for various holidays.
- Typing out reports of everything that needs to be fixed or that has been fixed, and maintaining that extensive list.
- Working closely with the Animal Care team to update their tanks and habitats to maintain a safe environment for the animals, for the animals' safety, and to follow laws.
- Led guests, schools, and other tour groups throughout the museum, educating them on diverse topics
- Led classes on several topics, including magnetic fields, Alabama biodiversity, rocks, and plants
- Led several classes teaching elementary to college-age kids on animal dissections of several species
- Designed and published several new class topics and scripts for educating guests and schools
